AllI can say is that my bride couldn't be happier. And when I say bride, I mean my wife of 29 years. I called a few places and was turned off because of the rudeness of whomever answered the phone. Not the case when I called David. Very polite!I have a 22k solid rope chain that is very important to me and noticed one of the links were broken off and needed immediate repair. So far I have come across only two fair places in Boca to sell your jewelry. One estate buyer and here. The difference is David is a gemologist and has a lot of inventory and I really appreciated his time and professional manner. His prices were more than double that I was offered anywhere else and right in line with one other place I would definitely go back to him because he is fair and honest. I feel he is more of an expert and has lots of knowledge he was a pleasure to work with and highly ethical. They had also resized the band incorrectly. David is an expert. We went to him and he reset the diamond beautifully, fixed the band, and it’s amazing. Also, because the diamond is so old and so unique we couldn’t find a wedding band that went with it correctly. David had a wedding band for us custom made, that looks AMAZING. I lost the diamond in my custom designed wedding ring when the setting prongs became loose without me realizing. I was beyond heartbroken and sad and it actually took me 4 years to look for a jeweler that I could trust to help me. My original setting was too high and I thought I would have to have the ring completely redesigned. After a diligent search , I found David Stern Jewelers. David was very welcoming and entering his store felt more like visiting an old friend than a stuffy, uptight establishment that most jewelry stores feel like (to me, anyway). David assured me that we could lower the setting and he had a beautiful pear shaped diamond that fit perfectly. And, amazingly enough, he had the new diamond in the new setting within 3 hours! After conducting a fair amount of Due Diligence and reading the reviews about reputable Jewelers -- just as you're probably doing right now -- I can honestly say that I couldn't be more pleased with the expert guidance, creativity and fair-priced service that I received at David Stern Jewelers.My first encounter with David Stern was by telephone, and within just a couple of minutes or so, after I had explained the nature of my multiple inquiries, I was convinced that my search efforts had paid off and that I'd truly found the right guy! I made an appointment to visit with David that afternoon and was later greeted by David at the door. His outright friendliness was candidly warm, personable and very down-to-earth. This put me at ease right away and we went into his office for a personal consultation. I explained that subsequent to my Mom's recent passing, my brother and I had inherited her fairly extensive collection of all kinds of jewelry … it included a mixture of diamond pieces, white & yellow gold bracelets, necklaces, rings, pins -- both Vintage and Current -- along with many pieces of costume jewelry. This entire collection would, at a later date, be fully evaluated, assessed and render a proposed cash offer.Among other things, I first wanted to repurpose the diamonds from two of my Mother's rings to create a one-of-a-kind Engagement Ring for my very deserving Fiancée. Like a couple of old friends working together, I described to David what I was looking for and, on very short order, David came up with a basic sketch rendering. It incorporated several sentimental stones from both of my Mom's rings ... David's creative vision for this finely crafted piece was amazing!Truthfully, ten days later when I picked up the finished ring, I was blown away by its exquisite and gleaming design … so was everyone else, especially my Fiancée … when I proposed!! It was a custom creation from the ground-up that only someone with David Stern's talent could precisely fabricate. Since the purchase of that beautiful ring, I've been back to see David several times. Each time, he insists on cleaning and polishing whatever pieces of jewelry I/we happen to have (routinely Free-of-Charge) and we're always greeted like "Family". Our most recent appointment was a three-hour Cost-Free consultation to appraise and assess our Mother's entire collection of jewelry. We selected a few pieces that we wanted to keep in the family, and then decided to accept David's generously-fair Cash-Offer for the remaining pieces. I can honestly say that when it comes to Jewelry, you won't find a nicer, more-qualified, pleasant, genuine, knowledgeable, trustworthy, considerate and fair-minded person than David Stern. I brought in my engagement ring for a “second opinion” because when someone at the International Diamond Exchange resized my ring, it came back with unremovable residue under the diamonds in the setting, and denied that it was a problem. David and Colleen told me they would put it in an acid bath, and they kindly removed my center stone to avoid damaging anything. He explains the process of selling jewelry and is very thorough. Although I did not sell my piece of jewelry as it was, he offered to transform it into another piece of jewelry which was a lovely idea. I definitely will return.

I had been trying to sell my old engagement ring but didn't want it to go to just anybody. I looked up Jewelers near me and David's name came up. Good reviews are important, but what sold me was actually the phone call. I called this place and David answered and welcomed me in without making it sound like he was trying to "sell me". He didn't ask for anything of me and offered to look my ring. I had lost the information on the cut and color, etc. I knew the minute I walked in I would feel safe selling my ring here. Great customer service, great guy, genuine. David is real- not some guy trying to take your money! I was relaxed and finally able to close this chapter in my life! Thanks David!!

Five stars is not enough for David Stern. He is an amazing artist who designs and creates the most unique and fabulous jewelry. If you have a stone(s), he will create a work of art for you, suggesting and enhancing your idea, He also has access to the highest quality stones from all over the world . He has been in the jewelry business for years and really knows the ins and outs. If you have jewelry to sell, he will give you a fair price after explaining how he calculated it considering the style, the weight and the quality of the stone(s) He is extremely personable and very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend. I had an old mine cut diamond that was a family heirloom remade into an engagement ring, and I took it to a jeweler who completely messed it up and set the diamond wrong and it fell out. They had also resized the band incorrectly. David is an expert. We went to him and he reset the diamond beautifully, fixed the band, and it’s amazing. Also, because the diamond is so old and so unique we couldn’t find a wedding band that went with it correctly. David had a wedding band for us custom made, that looks AMAZING. Everything was done in a reasonable amount of time, for a reasonable price, with great expertise and craftsmanship. Go to David!!

David was incredibly professional got my ring done ahead of schedule. I had been looking for somebody to make me an engagement ring for some time and felt pretty uncomfortable dealing with many of the jewelers I had spoken with. Fortunately for me I stumbled into David's shop and he walked me through all the steps and made the process super comfortable. Experienced jeweler with not only a high end, unique selection of jewelry, but a great appraisal service. I recently had an appraisal session with David Stern and was very impressed. He was thorough and informative, and is now my go-to-jeweler. My appraisal (which includes a picture of the ring) was e-mailed to me, and another copy should arrive in the mail shortly. I also got a ring re-rhodium plated and some other rings steam cleaned while I got the appraisal, and they did a great job with those as well. Lastly, his store has a lot of rare and beautiful pieces that I will definitely be taking of in the future. Couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I needed to get an engagement ring made for my fiance, and David came highly recommended. I already had a diamond from an heirloom and needed it transformed into a new ring. From the first visit up until the end result David made me feel extremely comfortable. Walking in I had a really good idea of what I wanted. Even with that being so, David still offered his creative input without being pushy. I'm really grateful that he did, because the end result is amazing! It turned out better than I imagined. There was a little mishap with the ring size, and David had it fixed in a matter of hours, which we truly appreciated.

David Stern did an amazing job sizing my mother’s engagement ring. I needed the ring size from 5 to 9 to give to my sister in-law. When I picked the ring up it looked like a brand new ring and looks better than it did when I brought it in. His work is excellent, fast, and very reasonably priced.
